Auto Expo 2018 is standing just a few weeks away and that said, leading auto giants have pulled up their socks for the biennial event. In the race to showcase some interesting vehicles, world’s leading two-wheeler manufacturer Hero MotoCorp is no behind and it is all geared up for the motoring exhibition. Just like every edition of the Auto Expo, Hero MotoCorp will showcase multiple two-wheeler models this time too and most of them will most likely be concepts. To start off with, one of the most interesting motorcycles to grace the company’s booth at Auto Expo 2018 will be the all-new Hero Xtreme 200 NXT. The motorcycle is expected to be unveiled before the motor show but the price announcement may take place at the extravagant event. Another highlight by Hero MotoCorp can be a 125cc scooter that may or may not be the Dare 125 that was put on display four years back at 2014 Auto Expo. Now what’s even more interesting will be what new motorcycles and scooters do Hero MotoCorp bring to the Expo this time. Having said that, here is the list of all Hero MotoCorp bikes and scooters that will make their presence felt at Auto Expo 2018.
Hero Xtreme 200 NXT at Auto Expo 2018
The company will showcase the Xtreme 200 NXT at Auto Expo 2018. The motorcycle was showcased as a concept model at the 2016 Auto Expo. The company has teased the motorcycle a few days back in a teaser and according to the footage, the bike will arrive on 30th January. While the new Hero Xtreme 200 NXT will most likely be unveiled before the biennial event, the price announcement is expected to take place at Auto Expo 2018 next month. Powering the Hero Xtreme NXT, as the name suggests will be a 200cc engine mated to a five-speed transmission. Expect the bike to come at a price of close to Rs 90,000 (ex-showroom).
Hero XPulse at Auto Expo 2018
Hero MotoCorp showcased the XPulse adventure bike for the first time at 2017 EICMA motorcycle show in Milan, Italy. The motorcycle will get its power from a 200cc, air-cooled engine mated to a five-speed gearbox. Power and torque figures of this engine are unavailable at the moment. The new Hero XPulse gets off-road friendly features like windscreen, long travel suspension, raised front fender, luggage panniers and a lot more. The new Hero XPulse is expected to be launched in India at a price of a little over Rs 1 lakh (ex-showroom). The motorcycle will have no direct rival in the Indian two-wheeler market and that is where it can have an edge over its competition.
Hero Dare 125 at Auto Expo 2018
Hero MotoCorp might showcase the 125cc Dare scooter at the Auto Expo 2018. The said model made its appearance for the first time at the 2014 edition of the biennial event. There have been reports on the internet suggesting that the company has shelved the idea of the Dare 125 and is working on a completely new in-house developed scooter. Details on the upcoming Hero 125cc scooter are very scarce at the moment. This new Hero 125cc scooter if launched should come at a price of under Rs 60,000 (ex-showroom).
