Czech automaker Skoda Auto has confirmed that at the upcoming 2018 Geneva International Motor Show the company will be unveiling its new Vision X study concept car along with new generation Skoda Fabia and version of its Skoda Kodiaq SUV and Skoda Octavia RS performance sedan. Skoda Kodiaq and Skoda Karoq SUVs have been successful models for the company and it is all ready to showcase its new SUV’s study concept design.

The study design Vision X concept transfers the brand’s new design language used n Kodaiq and Karoq into a new vehicle segment. It will feature Skoda’s crystalline design elements inspired by traditional Bohemian glass art. The car will get a hybrid powertrain and for the first time will see a CNG-powered (compressed natural gas), four-cylinder turbo engine with an electric drive to balance out both performance and efficiency.

While the Skoda Vision X concept will be the centre of attraction from the Czech carmaker, the company will also showcase the extensively revised new Skoda Fabia. The modified design at the front and rear provide the exterior with an appearance in-line with Skoda’s current design philosophy. In addition, the Fabia gets new LED headlights and LED rear lights for the first time. Interiors of Skoda Fabia has also been retouched to give a premium feel and gets new instrument cluster design and new seats. Skoda Fabia will be available globally with a choice of four engines with power outputs ranging from 60 to 110 PS.

On display will also be Skoda Kodaiq L&K, range-topping version of Kodiaq SUV that made its debut in India in 2017. The new version of Kodiaq gets a range of exclusive equipment including 19-inch ‘Sirus’ alloy wheels, full-LED headlights, a radiator grille with chromed slats as well as model-specific front and rear bumpers. Skoda will also unveil its Octavia RS sedan with the optional Challenge Plus package that gets many additions to both interior and exteriors along with a new improved petrol TSI engine shedding over 240 hp.
