Auto Expo 2018 sees the launch of Emflux One electric superbike. The company says that the new Emflux One will be available for sale in India at a price of close to Rs 6 lakh (on-road). The motorcycle happens to be the fastest electric superbike that you can buy in India. The new Emflux One can sprint from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3 seconds and can achieve a top speed of 200 kmph. All this is thanks to a 60 kW electric motor that generates respective power and torque of 80 hp and 84 Nm. The company will also take the wraps off Emflux Two, a naked electric bike based on the same philosophy but at a later stage. The Emflux One showcased at Auto Expo 2018 has been assisted with disc brakes at both ends to deliver a decent stopping power. The brakes have come from the house of Brembo so one can safely assume that the bike will have a stopping power at par with some of the best high-performance motorcycles. A dual channel ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) is also being offered as standard. The suspension system of the Emflux One comprises of Ohlins inverted forks up front along with a monoshock at the rear.
The company revealed at Auto Expo 2018 that it will be setting up separate dealerships to sell the electric bike, which it calls as Experience centres. The said outlets will be set up initially in the cities of Delhi, Mumbai and Hyderabad. Besides this, the brand has plans to install 1000 WARP chargers across the highways in India and Europe.
However, if you wish to buy the new Emflux One superbike, you will have to wait till next year. The motorcycle will be produced in limited numbers and only 199 units of the Emflux One will be made. For more updates on the Auto Expo 2018, stay tuned with us.
